DNA Paris Design Awards 2026 建築部門（Architecture / Housing）にてWinnerを受賞しました。授賞式は11月、フランス・パリにて開催予定です。

We have been named a Winner in the Architecture / Housing category at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2026.
The award ceremony will take place in November in Paris, France.

A' Design Award 2026の授賞式に出席するため、イタリア・コモを訪れました。 授賞式は、200年以上の歴史を持つTeatro Sociale di Comoで開催され、Architecture部門 Silver Awardのトロフィーを受け取りました。
空調設備のない200年以上の歴史ある劇場が、特別な観光施設ではなく、今もなお多くの人々の日常の文化活動の場として大切に使われ続けていることに深く感銘を受けました。
歴史ある建築を保存するだけでなく、現代の暮らしの中で生かし続ける成熟した都市のあり方は、建築家として多くの学びとなりました。 また、沖縄の風土に根ざした建築への取り組みが、世界にも通じる可能性をあらためて実感しました。

We traveled to Como, Italy, to attend the A' Design Award 2026 ceremony. The ceremony was held at the historic Teatro Sociale di Como, a theater with more than 200 years of history, where we received the Silver Award trophy in the Architecture category.

We were deeply impressed that this historic theater, despite having no air-conditioning, is not preserved merely as a tourist attraction but continues to serve as a vibrant venue for everyday cultural activities.

Seeing how historic architecture is not only preserved but also actively integrated into contemporary life offered us valuable insight into the maturity of a city that embraces its architectural heritage. The experience also reaffirmed our belief that architectural ideas rooted in Okinawa's climate, culture, and way of life can resonate with people around the world.

A’ Design Award 建築部門にてシルバー賞（上位賞）を受賞しました。
授賞式は7月、イタリア・コモにて開催されます。

We have received the Silver Award (upper-tier distinction) in the Architecture Category at the A’ Design Award.
The award ceremony will take place in July in Como, Italy.
