Concept

A recuperation home that has a role as an information center of Okinawan culture.
A 130-year-old house was built on a site which is protected by a common garcinia that is over 100 years old. We tried to renovate but it needed to be rebuilt because it was severely deteriorated.
Therefore, the owner requested to protect its original scenery and build a new house which takes root on its site.
